Hey Wavers- I want to talk to you about Storytelling because it’s the heartbeat of my new company, New Wave Creative. I, like so many of my colleagues are convinced that Good Stories can not only change the way we think, the way we behave, but how we act, feel and do things. What I’m talking about here is connection. At its core storytelling, an agency word I longed rejected but have since embraced is about selling ideas in a thoughtful and unforgettable way. I call this type of reactivity transformational media. Transmedia, transcends content to evoke either an emotion or a response or both. Something we continue to cultivate as creative’s is how to create connectivity through compelling imagery, narrative development, content strategy and consumer messaging. All of which are essential in effective brand building.

So I leave you with this thought, every brand has a story. What’s yours? What do you stand for? What’s your purpose? Your opinion? Your differentiating value? Your unique proposition?
